Get Your Dance On is joining forces with Evolver.net and Urban Zen to take over YogaWorks Soho’s gorgeous duplex space (complete with three huge rooms, hardwood floors perfect for getting down in yer bare feet, saunas, and showers for when you’re all danced out) to create an opportunity for NYC’s finest humans to revel in their collective awesomeness and have a freakin blast.
DJ Dhundee will man the wheels of steel as Brooklyn’s Brian T Carter facilitates the beat in our live room to keep things inspired, and the Didge Project will hold down the chill space with didgeridoos, tabla, violin (the list goes on), and an acupuncturist on-site doing community-style treatments.
Get there early for opening ceremony with Parashakti and Natasha Blank, and to catch an incredible workshop with STUDIO 5’s Akil Davis and Stephen Hershey guaranteed to get you ready to move, followed by a discussion with Daniel Pinchbeck on his new book, Notes from the Edge Times. All profits benefit the Urban Zen Foundation (urbanzen.org), which creates, connects, and collaborates to raise awareness and inspire change in the areas of well-being, preserving cultures, and empowering children.
