The Feature Friday Concert Series celebrates the diversity and exceptional talent of the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music’s faculty.
Suzuki collaborative pianist Emile Blondel presents The Road Up (2016) for solo piano by Kenneth Frazelle.

Community Music School Chamber Music Instructor, Tom Chiu, in collaboration with Meaghan Burke will perform two pieces that stretch the aesthetic limits for strings. The first piece will be a solo violin work inspired by Indian composer Charanjit Singh, followed by an improvisation by the duo drawing on their broad influences ranging from abstract contemporary music to free jazz.

MFM member Lyndol Descant, Community Music School Voice and Piano Teacher, presents her vocal jazz pop trio that plays original music and creative covers. Piano based with heartfelt lyrics and improvisation; a true fusion of styles from manifold places and époques.
