Attention: Stand and Support the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra Musicians!

Local 802Rally tomorrow at 9AM at Lincoln Center

As you may know, Metropolitan Opera management has been threatening a lockout of its musicians at the end of today if they do not accept major concessions. Negotiations thus far have not been successful in moving Peter Gelb away from his draconian demands.  

 

We are holding a rally at Lincoln Center tomorrow morning. We urge all members and supporters to join us for this very important show of strength and solidarity.  

 

When: 9:00 AM  

Where: Dante Park, (across Columbus Avenue from Lincoln Center). Meet at the southwest corner of the park.
