Hi all,

oy, 10 days, 20+ concerts, 9 venues…. thanks everybody for coming out to the concerts! The festival was a blast, and the first videos that give you a glimpse of the program are already up.

Michael Vorfeld’s Lightbulb Music at REVERSE

Michael Vorfeld’s Light Bulb Music is an audio-visual performance using sounds that are generated by different light bulbs and actuating electric devices. Check out the YouTube excerpt here, starting with a cute timelapse video.

Mario de Vega + Philip White at The Firehouse

Working with unstable media involving a wide range of electronic devices and acoustic resonators, and drawn to the chaotic, autonomous behavior of feedback based instruments, Phillip White & Mario deVega explore the value of instability and the potential of its failure. Check it out here.

Shoko Nagai + Miguel Frasconi at The Firehouse

Shoko Nagai & Miguel Frasconi are using a wide array of analog electronics & synthesizers to create noise, analog, fat, chaotic, disturbed, sublime, angular, jagged, atonal, eclectic, marvelous sound from a uniquely imagined tradition. The sublime is here.

Joker Nies + Miguel Frasconi at Harvestworks

Miguel Frasconi and Joker Nies modify or build their instruments to their needs, from various analog devices, modified electronic toys and high-end synth modules, to the Omnichord, an electronic autoharp. Watch the concert excerpt here.
