Mohamed Badawi’s road movies.

The road movie Streets of Cairo was made and produced by Mohamed Badawi (Sudan) and Hubl Greiner (Germany) in January 2007, when both of them recorded at the studio of the Cairo Academy of Music  at the University Asyout. The soundtrack is from Mohamed Badawi’s CD D’Omdurman à Timimoun.


The road movie Sudan Roadmovie was also made and produced by Mohamed Badawi (Sudan) and Hubl Greiner (Germany) in 2008. The soundtrack is also from Mohamed Badawi’s CD D’Omdurman à Timimoun.

The road movie Sudan Al Khartum was also made and produced by Mohamed Badawi (Sudan) and Hubl Greiner (Germany) in 2007/2008. The soundtrack is from Mohamed Badawi’s CD Nosybe. The musicians are: Mohamed Badawi (vocals, oud, percussion), Roman Bunka (guitar, oud), Mohamed Abdelwahab Kununu (accordeon), Shirley Anne Hofmann (tuba, trombone, trumpet, euphonium), Hatim Mileegi (percussion), Daniel Sphani (drums), Norbert Dömling (bass), Mohamed Atif Abdel Hamid (nay), Amro Sawwaf (qanun), Tahir Mahmoud (violin), Amro Subhi (cello), Iman Aliy Ad-din (Choir, Cairo), Marwa Hasan (Choir, Cairo), Wala Mohamed (Choir, Cairo), Iman Mohamed Wadi (Choir, Cairo) Iglal Hashim (chorus), Safa Osman (chorus) and Magdi Shaban Sukkar (tabla, bandir).
