What:  Meg Okura and the Pan Asian Chamber Jazz Ensemble‘s new 10-piece mixed jazz ensemble album

Who: Meg Okura is a Juilliard grad Japanese Jewish Jazz violinist and composer who has had the fortune of working with: Michael Brecker, Tom Harrell, Lee Konitz, Steve Swallow, Dianne Reeves, Helen Sung, Sam Newsome, Kanye West, David Bowie, Philip Glass, Vince Giordano, JC Sanford, and many other wonderful artists.

Who Else:  the stellar lineup of musicians, representing different cultures around the globe. Anne Drummond (flutes), Sam Newsome (soprano saxophone), Sam Sadigursky (clarinet & bass clarinet), Meg Okura (violin), Rez Abassi (guitar), Riza Printup (harp), Brian Marsella (piano and Wurlitzer), Pablo Aslan (bass), Jared Schonig (drums), and myself on the violin.

We will be joined by a jazz legend, TOM HARRELL on trumpet & flugelhorn as a special guest.

We also have a Grammy nominated producer Migiwa Miyajima as our conductor & co-producer and Grammy winning engineer Marc Urselli for tracking and also Grammy winning engineer David Kowalski for mixing and mastering.
