People's Climate Movement

Text by Nick Espinosa

Dear friend,

On November 29th millions of people across the planet will take to the streets on the eve of the UN Climate Talks in Paris to demand bold, urgent action on the climate crisis.

To support this massive mobilization the People’s Climate Movement is hosting a virtual climate march where thousands will send in photos or messages about why they want action on climate to make sure world leaders hear us.

Whether you’re able to join in the streets, or if you just want to support from home, we need your voice.

Will you send a photo or message about why climate action matters to you and join the virtual march?

The climate crisis is already having severe impacts on some of the most vulnerable communities on the planet, and it threatens the very existence of the human species.

The warning signs are clear and we can no longer wait for world leaders to act. The COP21 climate negotiations in Paris is a critical opportunity to prevent catastrophic climate change. They must put forward a serious plan for a just transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources that protects people, workers, and the planet.

Let’s make sure they get the message with a virtual march showing photos of people all across the country sharing why they are demanding action on climate now.

Will you send a photo or message about why climate action matters to you and join the virtual march?

The recent victories of the climate justice movement show that when we stand together, we can make the impossible possible, and we can build a better future for us all.

Let’s keep this momentum going by taking collective action for future generations, in Paris, and beyond.

Thanks for all you do,
Nick Espinosa
