Some people wonder what the hell a MANAWI THORN is. some people probably even worry about getting Manawi Thorns in their feet when walking barefoot.
this COULD happen (given large enough feet, and a propensity for walking barefoot in winter) but is not LIKELY to happen. Manawi Thorn is a band. some people think we sound like math-rock, others like metal, others don’t know what the hell the beginning of this sentence even means but like to hear live music and/or watch a grown man flouncing about in funny pants making chirpy sounds, and/or both. some other people should probably lighten up.

and there are a bunch of bands. to the best of my limited knowledge, the order is something like this:
boogie brains
manawi thorn
fake hooker
krylls
BUT i don’t know for sure. i DO know from personal experience that at least two of these bands are awesome.
AND the krylls list their influences as “Atticus Finch, Lars Ulrich, Flavor Flav,” so what’s going on there is almost painfully obvious.

how did you guess? we just came out with our first CD. it’s called Feed and Weep. in theory you should be able to buy it online somehow soon but for now you’re lucky because you can buy it at the show instead and not pay the extra $35.75 in shipping charges (it’s a VERY LONG and VERY HEAVY CD).
