Webinar description:
Hamid Najafi will introduce his gig platform Tuneforte specifically designed by musicians for musicians which uses AI, VR, and other technologies to make streaming a live concert easy, engaging, enjoyable, accessible to all musicians, and above all, profitable. He will discuss its features and benefits to the musicians performing, and the viewers of, online live concerts. The purpose of the platform is to make watching a live music concert online a viable alternative (but not replacement) to attending concerts in person helping musicians and venues to expand their audience and increase revenue. He would love to hear the attendees’ thoughts on how he can make this a better tool for you as a musician.
About Hamid Najafi (https://www.linkedin.com/in/hamid-najafi-a0472014/)
Hamid is an entrepreneur who received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University many years ago. He designed Samsung’s very first cellphone and started a few companies specializing in wireless and GPS over the years in Silicon Valley.
He also trained as a classical singer, and he enjoys performing and recording occasionally. Tuneforte was born out of the desire to help musicians during the pandemic, and it became a passion for Hamid and his team to make something that can help the spread of music around the globe better and benefit musicians.

MFM seeks to bring together musicians from all disciplines, styles, traditions and localities in the cause of their mutual self-betterment. Whether through education, networking or political action, MFM’s ultimate goal is to elevate the work of all musicians to the level of a true profession.
About IMA (https://www.independentmusiciansalliance.org)
The IMA is a solidarity organization formed to promote the free interchange of ideas and information among the professional jazz musicians of the San Francisco Bay Area, to aid in their ability to collectively advocate for new standards of compensation, benefits, and working conditions. By bringing together professional independent musicians, we will create a focused message and plan of action to change the status quo of music performance in the Bay Area. Through solidarity of purpose, we plan to create a grassroots alliance through which advocacy and change can and will occur.
