Dear Sohrab, 

We have some big news: the New York City Council has introduced a resolution in support of the Justice for Jazz Artists campaign! Join us on next Wednesday (5/14), as we hold a press conference on the steps of City Hall to announce this momentous occasion. 

This is a major step forward for the campaign and it is crucial that we have a good turnout amongst J4JA supporters. In addition to a press conference we will also have a performance by an all-star J4JA band, led by bass legend Ron Carter!

Place: City Hall steps

J4JA has received endorsements from several prominent NYC political figures, including Mayor DeBlasio and City Council Speaker Mark-Viverito.  We need you to come out and show your support for the campaign so we can get some serious media attention for this press conference!
