Dear Friends,
The protest at the UN against Ahmadinejad’s likely visit to New York will be the single largest demonstration ever for Iranian human rights and democracy outside the country. We want to shatter all records!
We will let the international community know that they can’t afford ignore the people of Iran. The Iranian people are not simply a backdrop for geopolitical maneuvering. Their rights, aspirations, and security matter!!!
In order to achieve the goal of a mega-rally we need you to invite EVERYBODY. Invite all your Facebook friends. All your family. Everyone!! Everywhere!! Attendees from every city and every country. Ask them to come by bus, by bike, by train, by plane, by foot, by boat they’re coming to New York! These days of protest in NYC will become the heart of the solidarity movement. Don’t limit your invites to people living in the tri-state area–this is international solidarity.
Tell people to be be in NYC on Sept 23rd and 24th.
