WASHINGTON, DC – Moments ago, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) voted to adopt a new Open Internet order, implementing strong net neutrality protections using Title II of the Communications Act.

Pianist / composer Richard Bennet is one of the forefront musicians who are blending Indian raga with jazz. He released several groundbreaking recordings (including New York City Swara, Raga & Blues, Rhapsody in Yaman, etc.), and performed at Lincoln Center Out of Doors, The Guggenheim Museum, BAMcafe, Brooklyn Museum of Art, and NJPAC. He has toured the world with various jazz and blues ensembles.

On the coldest night of 2015, musicians and listeners crowded into the blessedly heated basement if the Lower East Side’s Delancy. Burnt Sugar Smokehouse (in solidarity with the Black Rock Coalition) presented a night of NYC’s finest funk rock.
