Since I left Japan in 2008 the J-POP culture in Japan has changed or not changed. It depends on how you look at it.
Here are two very visual interesting videos of two groups who became very popular after my departure: “funny Kraftwerk” (mix of techno and J-POP) vs “Kawaii METAL” (mix of J-POP and HEAVY METAL).
