The “teepee project” in Union Square Park, April 15th, with special guest Sohrab Saadat Ladjevardi!

Text by Ed and Koko

Where: Union Square Park (by the Gandhi statue)

Date: Thursday April 15, 2010

Time: 10am – 8pm

We are pitching a TeePee! For anyone to enter and have their voice heard…

We will provide issues to discuss, or you can choose your own (politics, religion, social, etc..) – we are there to listen.  We will record it on video (or you may choose not to) and post it online for the world to see.  Attached is the flyer we’ll be posting around the city on the 14th, so spread the word and come on down.  We’re really not sure what to expect, but will do our best to follow these beliefs:

“If the freedom of speech is taken away, then dumb and silent we may be lead, like sheep to the slaughter.” –George Washington

“A right is not what someone gives you; it’s what no one can take from you.” –Ramsey Clark

“You must be the change you want to see in the world.” -Gandhi

Expected special guest Sohrab Saadat Ladjevardi on sax and voice!!!! Representing the Green Movement in Iran.
