DooBeeDoo supports Justice for Jazz Artists!
Text by J4JA
This Thursday, April 11th, will be a big day for the Justice For Jazz Artists campaign. Join us as we bring our message to the club owners: jazz musicians deserve pensions and fair working standards!
We’ll be marching with a live band both on the Upper East Side and in Greenwich Village at different times during the evening. We hope you can come out forone or both of the actions.
Here are the meeting locations:
Thursday, April 11th
March #1
Time: 5:45 PM
Location: Meet at the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art (5th Ave. at 82nd Street)
We will march to a property connected to one of the major clubs.
March #2
Time: 8:45 PM
Location: Meet at the arch at Washington Square Park. We will march to one of the major NYC jazz clubs.
